Jamie Foxx Will Star In “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”
Here’s some good news for actor/comedian Jamie Foxx and his fans!
The 44-year-old Ray star was cast in a leading role in the upcoming Spider-Man thriller, “The Amazing Spider-Man” sequel. The Academy-Award winner confirmed with ET that he will play the villainous role of “Max Dillon/Electro” in the film.
“I met with the director, Mark Webb, I met with Andrew Garfield, and we talked,” said Foxx on ET. “I think Electro will be an exciting character to play because he’s a … genius electrician-type person, and he gets the short end of the stick from the whole world, and the next thing you know he turns it on.”
Foxx’s character is an evil genius who can control vast amounts of energy. He is also one of Spider-Man’s greatest adversaries.
The movie, which will premiere in May 2014, will also feature Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley and Dane DeHaan.
Sounds like it’s going to be a blockbuster!
