Fed Ex Delivers 7 Pounds Of Weed
In what could only be described as a pot heads ultimate dream, a Massachusetts mother has decided to sue the delivery company Fed Ex, after they mistakenly delivered a package to her house containing over 7 pounds of Marijuana.
The woman, whose name is Maryangela Tobin received the package expecting it to have a gift for her daughter opened it to find the drug contents inside. To make things worse, she also alleges that the company revealed her personal information to the person that the package actually belonged to. Which lead to he and two other men showing up to her house asking for their weed.
According to CBS-Boston:
“Tobin said she thought the package was a birthday present for her daughter, because when she opened it, she found candles, pixie sticks and peppermint. There was also something she thought was potpourri, but it was marijuana…about an hour later, a man knocked on her door looking for the package, while two men sat in a vehicle in her driveway, waiting.”
She told the man that she did not have it then slammed the door and ran upstairs. Though it has been reported that the local police have made an arrest, the mother cay’s that she no longer feels safe in her home and is now filing a suit against the company that she claims has brought her all of this trouble.
