March ‘Ruler of the Airwaves’ Winner is…….
AND THE WINNER IS ….
The Let Your Voice Be Heard! “Ruler of the Airwaves” contest winner for the month of March is Zeke Jaye. This 19 year-old singer/songwriter is a native of Queens, New York who comes from a family filled with talent. Zeke Jaye grew up singing and dancing around the house to some of the great legends of music. Some of his inspirations include musicians like Sam Cooke, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. “I want the good feeling in today’s music like it was in their time,” says Zeke.
At age 12, Zeke was convinced to enter his school talent show in which he sung his own song called “That Girl,” a favorite among girls at his school. He continued to write songs on his own as he entered high school and developed his first mix tape entitled ‘Established 1994’ which he released it in his junior year. The next year he launched his own production company, Nosense Productions, with the help of three classmates, creating comedy skits and short films.
Zeke Jaye’s second release in 2012, J.A.Y.E. (Just A Young Entertainer), was written by himself. The R&B, Hip-Hop, and Pop feel helped him land the opening spot for both rapper Juelz Santana in November 2012 and open up for rapper/actor Bow Wow last December.
Zeke describes his music as ART (All Real Talent), which is also the name of the current album he is working on. ART (All Real Talent) which will be in stores and on iTunes in 2014. He is also working on short film and will be in an off broadway play called Uncensored by the Manhattan Class Company in May.
