Allen Iverson Responds To Ex-Wife’s Accusations That He Kidnapped Their Kids
Allen Iverson is speaking out against his ex-wife Tawanna Iverson who alleged that the retired NBA star has abducted their children.
According to recent reports, Tawanna agreed to let A.I take their five children on a short vacation from May 22 to May 26. However, Tawanna, who won sole custody over the kids in their divorce settlement, claimed that Allen refused to return their children.
In response, the former Philadelphia 76ers star has since told a different story, arguing that he gave Tawanna an opportunity to pick up their children.
According to CBS:
The children and Iverson were staying at a hotel in Georgia.
Allen Iverson denied those claims and told a judge in Fulton County, Ga., on Wednesday that he never kidnapped the kids and, in fact, gave his ex-wife the opportunity to drive 45 minutes to come pick them up.
A judge ruled that Iverson “did not deserve jail time.
Iverson and his ex were married to for 11 years before they divorced.
