Let Your Voice Be Heard! Radio is an independent, grassroots weekly talk show that is committed to informing, educating and empowering our generation. The show broadcasts live from WHCR 90.3FM in New York City every Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm (EST).
Each week, the LYVBH team dissects and/or debates political and social issues on an honest and open platform. Through thought-provoking discussions, the show encourages young people to express their views and empowers them to make positive changes in our world.
Team LYVBH! consists of hosts Dustin Plutzer, Selena Hill and Patricia Valoy in addition to engineer/radio personality Stanley Fritz and Events Manager Kawanza Billy.
“Our mission is to be a radio show for our generation where every opinion is welcome and nothing is out of bound. We are informative, entertaining, explosive, empowering, and honest.”
In 2006, Selena Hill created Let Your Voice Be Heard! (LYVBH) as a platform for the students of SUNY Old Westbury to express their views on issues within the institution and the struggles they faced as young adults. The show also encouraged students to voice their musical and creative talents and it exposed young new artists and party promotion groups.
After a two year hiatus, LYVBH! was relaunched and reloaded in 2011. It serves with its original purpose at hand, but has expanded to become the VOICE of young adults across the NATION.
